The East–West Motorway, labeled as A8 Târgu Mureș-Iași ((ルーマニア語、モルドバ語():Autostrada Est-Vest (A8))),〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://monitorizari.hotnews.ro/stiri-infrastructura_proiecte-19594554-autostrada-a8-targu-mures-iasi-autostrada-care-urma-lege-moldova-vestul.htm )〕 is a planned motorway in Romania, that will cross the Eastern Carpathians to connect the historical regions of Moldavia and Transylvania. Pre-feasibility studies performed in 2007 were followed by feasibility studies in 2009-2011. As of February 2015, the feasibility study revision and update is being conducted by private contractors.〔 With a total length of , and an estimated cost of 4.07 billion euro, A8 will have the following route (from east to west): Ungheni - border with Moldova, Iași, Târgu Frumos, Pașcani, Târgu Neamț, Poiana Largului, Tulgheș, Ditrău, Sovata, Târgu Mureș - junction with A3 motorway.〔(Documente Master Plan General de Transport ) 〕 ==See also==
